These unique pixel arrangements are generously donated by my friend Sam. They are explorations of cellular automata, a variety of computer algorithms that roughly model organic and biological behaviors. The goal of these explorations is to find the Edge of Chaos, which is the thin line between ordered, repeating patterns and indiscernible noise.
