Born in 1991, Deemarie Valenza showed a love of art at a young age. She found joy exploring with different mediums though, as a child she considered it nothing but a hobby. Later on in life, Deemarie attended Camden County College. She originally planned to major in veterinary technology but her love of art was reignited when she took an introduction to visual arts class. This decision led her to switch her major to Fine & Applied Arts. Having graduated with an associates, Deemarie would move on to gaining her Bachelors of Arts & Sciences at Rutgers University with her major being in Studio Art. Her experiences at college allowed her to find what mediums she worked best with. As an avid lover of oil paints, she eventually decided to try her hand at digital art and found it had suited her best. Her art is inspired by artists such as manga artist Junji Ito, Tim Burton, and Salvador Dali. She applies her love of all things creepy and surreal to her imaginative pieces.
