This is our medium Ultralight Shopping Bag, with an updated pattern for 2025. Featuring wider handles less prone to shrinkage with use and more spacious interior width.
These bags are made from the brand new ETX33 fabric from Challenge Sailcloth. This waterproof fabric is comprised of coated 33d high-tenacity polyester ripstop bonded to PET film with 45 degree Ultra CrossPly (UHMWPE) fibers inside for increased tear resistance. This is the first fabric we've encountered that exhibits similar translucency to DCF and weighs about the same. All seams are taped as usual.
Great for shopping for two, it can fit a carton of 18 eggs at the bottom. These medium bags are better suited for full grocery store trips than the smaller bags. The hand holes have been widened so the bag can be slung over you shoulder in a pinch. Use them camping to carry bulky food like bags of tortilla chips or a spare down throw that does not fit in your sleep system.
